Inspired by the Bauhaus style, the work explores the relationship between color and form through a simple and effective geometric and chromatic interplay.
The author explains the genesis of the work:
Almost every winter, I would visit my friend Nicoló in Arena Metato, near Pisa. We’d talk about the work we had in common and sports cars. I was always looking for a hotel in Versilia, because the off-season allowed me to experience the sea in the way I prefer. It was enough to shelter from the breeze to discover an inviting sun and a wonderful sea. Many beach establishments still had their theories of wooden posts, which in the summer would turn into small structures covered with sunshade cloths and furnished with wicker lounge chairs. Yellow and orange! The colors of the sand and the sun.
