\u201cWednesday in Gorizia\u201d and \u201cThursday in Trieste\u201d form a small diptych, whose subject has inspired multiple interpretations by the author. The 2022 version is the most graphic. The strong dynamism of the diagonal lines and the contrast between black and primary colors (specifically warm colors) makes the visual impact of the composition particularly strong. I had arrived in Gorizia late in the morning accompanied by huge clouds that were constantly alternating with the sun succumbing within moments. This \u201ctitanic combat\u201d had lasted all afternoon producing fantastic colors and surreal figures in the sky. In the evening I had moved to Trieste without imagining that the next morning I would find those incredible skies, masterfully reproduced over the sea.
